Summary

War begins。 But secrets have the power to end。。。everything。

Fallen princess。 Traitor。 Queen。

Forsaking her people and her birthright, Elise Lysander takes her place at the side of the new fae king of a broken land。 Revered by some, hated by many, Elise’s fight for her love and freedom is only beginning。

As secrets of Castle Ravenspire come to light, Elise and Valen discover their enemies hold more power than they ever imagined。

It will take more than blades to defeat them。

Fulfilling a dangerous request from Valen’s imprisoned brother。 Destroying a prophecy of fate kept in the hands of Elise's brutal sister。 And an unwilling alliance with a shadowed thief from a neighboring kingdom that might end in victory or more death。

Blood is calling。 War will answer。

But for Elise and Valen this fight could be their hard-fought salvation…or a vicious end to everything they love。

Filled with luscious world building, banter-filled romance, and epic battles, this final book in the Northern Kingdom is part Viking, part fairy tale。 One-click to start reading today。

*This is the final book in Elise and Valen's love story, however, more tales will continue in the Broken Kingdoms。 The romance and heat builds as the series progresses*

This book right here is the embodiment of a fairytale ending。 I thought it was cute。

This series continues to be a great read。 OF COURSE I’m going to say I wish we had more spice, but the plot and characters make up for the lack of it。 I loved the new characters we were introduced to in this book and how seamless it felt to meet them and care about them。 It’s going to make reading the next book that much better。 The Nightbender had me feeling the feels already。

I want to give this book at least 6 stars!!! Loved the entire trilogy and all of the characters。 But, this last book…I felt all the feels。 The love, the desire, the pain, the heartache。 The battles were greatly written。 And so many twists and turns that weren’t expected…at least until almost 3/4 of this book。I’m not a huge fan of 1st person narrative, but I still loved these books! The author had a way to capture the story and characters where I didn’t really mind the 1st person narrative。If you I want to give this book at least 6 stars!!! Wow what an epic conclusion to Elise and Valen's love story。 From book one I have been hooked and have eagerly followed them on their journey and it has been such an amazing adventure。 The author has done an incredible job not only finishing this trilogy off but also leading us onto another adventure which I cannot wait to embark on。 Epic battles, romance, excellent world building and amazing characters if you haven’t read this series then what are you waiting for! WOWZA!!! What an epic ending!!LJ is such a fantastic author! Her writing just sucks you in completely! This is one I stayed up way too late to finish! I still adore the Night Prince, Elise, Ari and Halvar the most! The steamy level went up a smidge in the one but so well done and nothing too graphic! The story is action packed and moves at a good pace。 I love how the battle scenes are described well enough I can visualize it and the fight sequences are amazing!! I love how she set up Nightrender as this character I love so I'm already dying for his book but not so much that he overshadows the Night Prince。 It was the perfect balance between the two! There's a couple other new characters I love but don't wan to spoil anything。 And oh my goodness did this book twist and turn! I LOVED it! I totally didn't see any of it coming and that was fabulous! This is a series I need physical copies to go along with my Kindle! It's that good, people!!! Absolute perfection!! Now I'm left on pins and needles waiting for the next series to start!! Way to go LJ! You freakin knocked it outta the park with this one!! 。。。more

The battle lines have been drawn! This is awesome! I applaud Ms Andrews with the quality of writing in this third book of the series。 The battle lines are drawn。 Elise and Valen request the help of foreigners with certain talents that not everyone is privy to。 Ms Andrews draws these characters with vivid imagination each with their unique characteristics。 You know them by their footprints, their smells, their eyes, their talents, their physical traits, what kind of weapons they use, or is it jus The battle lines have been drawn! I applaud Ms Andrews with the quality of writing in this third book of the series。 The battle lines are drawn。 Elise and Valen request the help of foreigners with certain talents that not everyone is privy to。 Ms Andrews draws these characters with vivid imagination each with their unique characteristics。 You know them by their footprints, their smells, their eyes, their talents, their physical traits, what kind of weapons they use, or is it just their magic? Love them or hate them but not much in between。 The landscape can be manipulated by the fury of the Night Prince, Valen, but there is a price to be paid。 Fury can weaken the body and takes time to recover。 Valen almost effortlessly draws on the land to produce vines and flowers when he needed to mask the smell of magic in their blood。 Valen also uses it many times to rescue those he loves and to save his people。 The romance between Elise and Valen builds with a little heat but very tastefully done。 Their love for each other is unprecedented。 Totally sincere, totally heated yet not overly done。Elise comes face to face with her sister in battle。 She has learned a few things about weaponry and how to handle them。 She has grown in anger and hatred toward Elise and will not relinquish the throne easily。 Many of the enemies here get their justice in surprising ways。 Makes you want to jump and shout for victory。 Yesssss! Some unexpected help comes in support of Valen in battle。 It brought tears to my eyes。 I love the way Valen takes out his arch rival, Jarl! Yay! I highly recommend reading this book with many kudos to Ms Andrews!Just when you thought this was the last book in this series, Ms Andrews surprises us with another book。 However, we leave behind Valen and Elise and follow Nightrender’s story with Gunner tagging along。 He is determined to find his father。 I have preordered it so I won’t miss a thing。 Oorah! I received a copy of this book from the author。 The review is my own opinion。 。。。more
